Village Veterinary Clinic
In-House Laboratory
Village Veterinary Clinic is equipped with in-house laboratory equipment. Having an on-site lab gives us the ability to obtain test results quickly which can be an advantage in serious medical conditions.
Types of samples that can be analyzed in our lab are:
Blood: Electrolytes, complete blood counts (CBC), and full chemistry
Urine: Full urinalysis looking for bacteria, crystals, and more!
Cytology (cells): Fine needle aspirates, ear cytology, ear mite check, skin scraping, and tape prep; all tests that look at different cells from all over the body.
We also have access to a reference laboratory and pathologists for more complicated testing and analysis.
