Lauren comes from the Hamilton/Toronto region, and gave up big city life to move to Russell in 2019. She joined the Village Vet team in August 2022 as a client services representative after spending the majority of her career in retail management. Most recently she worked in the pet food and small pet industry as well as assisting local rescues with finding forever homes for cats in need. ​Lauren made this career move to be closer to home and work within the Russell community, but more importantly, Lauren has always had a great love of animals, and transitioning from retail into the veterinary field has perfectly combined her customer service background with her passion for animals. Lauren spends most of her time at home with her husband, three cats, gecko and snake. She enjoys cooking, watching 80’s and 90’s movies, playing the piano, listening to podcasts, and snoozing with her cats.
