Village Veterinary Clinic is equipped with in-house laboratory equipment. Having an on-site lab gives us the ability to obtain test results quickly which can be an advantage in serious medical conditions.  ​

Types of samples that can be analyzed in our lab are:

• Blood: Electrolytes, complete blood counts (CBC), and full chemistry
• Urine: Full urinalysis looking for bacteria, crystals and more!
• Cytology (cells): Fine needle aspirates, ear cytology, ear mite check, skin scraping, and tape prep; all tests that look at different cells from all over the body.

We also have access to a reference laboratory and pathologists for more complicated testing and analysis. 

• Pathologists opinions/comments
• Advanced technology/diagnostic machines
• More specific, complicated and/or rare testing
